Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (165g) brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Combine Ingredients:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Shape the Cookies:
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are slightly soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
